Research and developement

ASECon is currently carrying out a research and development project on „Development of an innovative technology for the construction of railway bridges from prefabricated elements, including high-speed rail bridges”, co-financed under the Regional Operational Program of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship 2014-2020 with funds from the European Union - European Regional Development Fund.

The main aims of the project include:

  • development of an innovative technology for the construction of railway bridges from prefabricated elements,
  • development of technology for the implementation and manufacturing of these prefabricated elements.

EU funding for the project: 487 398,93 PLN (circa 106 721,00 EUR)

ASECon carried out a project on „Implementation of the innovative tools and introduction to the market services of comprehensive assessment of existing bridges”, co-financed under the Regional Operational Program of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship 2014-2020 with funds from the European Union - European Regional Development Fund.

The aim of the project was to implement an innovative set of tools developed in a separate R&D project and to bring to the market a multi-stage service of comprehensive assessment of the load capacity of existing bridges. This goal has been achieved, among others, by:

  • implementation of an innovative multi-stage methodology for comprehensive assessment of the load carrying capacity of existing bridges,
  • implementation of an innovative method for the assessment of the load carrying capacity of bridges and the pre-screening for the critical structures,
  • implementation of specialized software for BIM modeling and detailed analysis of critical structures.

EU funding for the project: 135 000,00 PLN (circa 29 560,00 EUR)

ASECon carried out a research and development project on "Development of a set of innovative tools for the comprehensive load capacity assessment of existing bridges", co-financed under the Regional Operational Program of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship 2014-2020 with funds from the European Union - European Regional Development Fund.

The aim of the project was to develop an innovative tool to improve the processes of assessing the load carrying capacity of existing bridges. This goal was achieved through the implementation of industrial research and development work including the following:

  • development of a methodology for the multi-stage evaluation of the load carrying capacity of existing bridges,
  • development of a method for assessing the load carrying capacity of bridges using a comparison of loads and material parameters in current and previous design standards,
  • development of a prototype system (tool) to support the load capacity assessment of existing bridges.

EU funding for the project: 249 585,60 PLN (circa 54 650,00 EUR)
